He helps homeowners who need more space or a home that works better, without the stress of finding and managing a string of separate trades. His main specialisms are loft conversions, house extensions, full house refurbishments, kitchens and garden rooms, alongside joinery, roofing, tiling and electrical and gas work. Andrew works hands-on where he is needed and brings in trusted specialists for each discipline. Gas work is carried out by our registered gas engineer and electrical work by our registered electrician. On loft conversions and extensions, Andrew handles building control sign-off himself, so inspections happen at the right time and the certificate is there at the end. Based in Thorpe Willoughby, near Selby, Design Built Right covers Selby, York, Leeds, Tadcaster, Sherburn in Elmet, Goole, Pontefract, Wetherby, Doncaster, and the wider North, West, East and South Yorkshire area. How we work ## Standards you can hold us to ### Work in the right order Electrics and pipework before plaster, plaster before joinery, flooring last. Correct sequencing means nothing gets ripped out and redone. ### The right trade for each job Specialists Andrew knows and trusts for each discipline, and registered engineers for all gas and electrical work. ### Paperwork that stands up Building control sign-off managed on lofts and extensions, and clear, itemised quotes before anything starts. Any guarantee that applies to your job is explained by Andrew when he quotes, so you know exactly where you stand before work begins.
